New For 2008!

If you've gotten this far you've probably already noticed there are lots of changes for the new year. Here's what the new headstocks will look like. Several are already in production. We'll post some photos of actual headstocks soon.

Happenings...

Been a couple of weeks since I've blogged...

The CBSC-4 with the smoked chrome Dark Stars is finished and almost ready to ship. It came out real nice and sounds fantastic.



Also been busy spraying. Should be a big wave of stuff all leaving about the same time.

New Dark Star Look

Here's a new set of Dark Stars with smoked chrome surrounds. This is the first set to go out like this.

New Models

A Couple of New Ones

An STSS-5 with a bloodwood top, Peruvian walnut accent and ash body. This one will be tuned EADGC.

A TR-6. It's getting a green burst paint job and heading for Australia when it's done.

Sister Bass

This bass is for my sister and her two boys, who live in Hawaii. When she asked me to build her a bass I said I'd only do it if she found some koa locally for the project and sent it to me. Sure, I can get koa all day long, but where's the fun in that? Well, she came through and sent me some extra, enough for two more basses. The bass also has walnut accent stripe and an ash back. Won't be too much longer. She's been waiting patiently.

Here's one for the "Special Projects" section. It's based on the TRX design, but without the multi-scale thing. It's heading to a destination that's halfway around the globe and in the southern hemisphere...mate.
